The evaluation of the teaching and learning process (also known as Evaluasi proses belajar mengajar / EPBM) is filled by the students to assess educational activities. The EPBM is filled by students twice: before the mid-term exams and before the final exams. In addition to providing assessments, students can also give suggestions and feedback regarding the teaching process and learning facilities, addressing both lecturers and courses. This feedback is valuable for improving courses in the following semester.

The results of the student evaluation were directly communicated to the lecturers of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SVMBS) during the event “Kick-off: Socialization for Odd Semester 2024/2025 and Appreciation for the Academic Community” by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Drh. Ni Wayan Kurniani Karja, on Wednesday, 31 August 2024.

The evaluation results from the students indicate that the teaching activities conducted by the lecturers have been very good. Students reported that the lecturers delivered the material clearly and effectively. However, some student feedback still needs to be addressed. Areas for improvement based on the students’ feedback include: updating several teaching materials, aligning exam questions with the delivered content, providing assignment deadlines within a reasonable timeframe, and incorporating English into each lecture for international students,” explained Ni Wayan regarding the EPBM results.

Students’ suggestions through the EPBM are carried out anonymously, ensuring their identities are unknown so they can freely express their suggestions.

“We use the feedback from the EPBM as a basis for improving the quality of learning in the next semester,” concluded Ni Wayan.

Furthermore, an appreciation event for the SVMBS IPB academic community who have retired this year was held at the end of the activity. Bellow are the names of the academic community members who have or will retire this year:
