GAMBARAN DIFERENSIASI LEUKOSIT PADA AYAM YANG TERINFEKSI Eimeria spp. SECARA ALAMI DAN TELAH DIBERI EKSTRAK DAUN JOHAR (Cassia siamea Lamk.)

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun johar dengan berbagai konsentrasi (dosis 4.09 mg/0.5 ml, dosis 8.18 mg/0.5 ml, dan dosis 16.38 mg/0.5 ml) terhadap jumlah dan jenis leukosit ayam yang terinfeksi Eimeria spp. johar dengan Penelitian ini menggunakan ayam petelur jantan berumur 2 bulan dan dibagi dalam 6 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol negatif (K-), kelompok kontrol positif (K+), kelompok obat (KO), kelompok johar dosis 1 (J1), kelompok johar dosis 2 (J2), dan kelompok johar dosis 3 (J3). Darah diambil dari vena axillaris dan dibuat preparat ulas. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun dosis 4.09 mg/0.5 ml dapat mengembalikan persentase jumlah heterofil dan monosit ke nilai normal. Sedangkan jumlah total leukosit dan persentase rata-rata limfosit, eosinofil, dan basofil tidak mengalami perubahan.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to determine effect given leaves johar extract with a variety of concentration (dose 4.09 mg/0.5 ml, dose 8.18 mg/0.5 ml, and dose 16.38 mg/0.5 ml) on the total and differential leucocyte on the chicken that have infected by Eimeria spp. Naturally. The layer cock two months old were used in this experiment. The group were negative control group (K-), positive control group (K+), drug group (KO), one dose johar group (J1), two dose johar group (J2), and three dose johar group (J3). Blood sample were taken from axillaris vein and smeared on glass object. Based on the observation, it can be concluded that johar with dose 4.09 mg/0.5 ml can given back the heterophyle percentage and monocyte percentage to be normal value. Mean while the total leucocyte, lymphocyte percentage, eosinophyle percentage, and basophyle percentage were still on normal range.
